I’m not sure, but I think movie maker comes on most PC’s. If you don’t have it, you can download it directly from microsoft and it’s totally free.

Dagger’s right, Windows Movie Maker 2 is packaged in computers running Windows xp. It has a basic click-and-drag interface that lets you add the elements of your movie easily. If you are running older an Windows version, you can try to download a Windows Movie Maker opensource alternative, which is basically free and complete. You may also want to try the Super video converter to convert files, like .wmv (Microsoft) to .mov (Apple), or vice versa. It is also good for making videos compatible with some cel phones and even for VCD, DVD, even Flash files. It is also free but is a bit heavy at 25 MB. I hope this helps.
